Behind the Blog
I would just like to add that this was originally my idea, and I feel that the rating system should be based upon ME. Possibly the Beebest scale (2-7 with 7 being the highest) or the Kool scale(1-5) and (not the cigarette). Regardless, many of Natalie's past posts would have definitely rated a 7 Beebest or a 5 Kool. Sadly, the past few have not lived up to the expectations that have been set by previous online musings.

4 Comments:
I think that perhaps I have found a potential alternate holistic scoring scale. . .say 0 to 6 for example
Score of 6
An entry in this category is outstanding, demonstrating clear and consistent domination, although it may have a few minor errors, which will be forgiven by magnanimous readers. An entry in this category will not have the "ADD" quality of some recent entries.
Score of 5
An entry in this category is effective, demonstrating reasonably consistent mastery, although it will have occasional errors or lapses in quality. Effective at what? That's not be important. This is a warm and fuzzy holistic scale. We would therefore only care about what Nat-a-tat did correctly.
Score of 4
An entry in this category is competent, demonstrating adequate mastery, although it will have lapses in quality. Entries of this type will be below Natalie's average, although likely above the average.
Score of 3
An entry in this category is inadequate (borderline suckage), but demonstrates developing mastery(sobriety), and is marked by one or more of the following weaknesses:
develops a point of view on some random issue, demonstrating some critical thinking, but may do so inconsistently or use inadequate examples, reasons, or other evidence to support its position
is limited in its organization or focus, but may demonstrate some lapses in coherence or progression of ideas. This actually seems to be the definition of a blog.
Score of 2
An entry in this category is basically boring, providing only a description of events and no information which could be twisted and used against Natalie by any decent psychiatrist. (And we all know how smart doctors are)
Score of 1
This is typically a brief (or boxer if you prefer) entry which promises another, better entry later. Please do not waste our time. Those of us who anxiously await each new entry to Natalie's blog do not like to be tormented in this way. Seriously it is bad enough that when we check 20 - 30 time a day for a new entry and there is not one. It's almost like driving past ben and jerrys every morning before they open.
Oh my, oh my. I should have known this was coming. Very clever, Miss Wendy, very clever. After all that essay grading, it seems the tables have turned...
Question. Why is your blog on California time? It's 11:48, damnit!
Answer. My profile was on California time. I fixed it. Carry on.
